How does a company define value? We don’t think we can. We think only the customer can define value. We do know what we value though! We also know that what one person values, another may not. Many people seem to equate value with price, and price does play a part in value. However, price isn’t the only thing when shopping for value. Customers often ask us if we are the cheapest price in town. Our response is that honestly we don’t make it our priority to be the cheapest in town. We certainly want to be competitive with our prices, but a company that competes on price alone, typically doesn’t last long in the market and soon goes out of business. (We have seen a lot come and go since 1976.) Someone will always come along and be cheaper than you.
We want to be the best value for our customers. We want to still be in business in 2, 5, 10 years when you need service on your purchase or are ready to remodel. We have been building countertops and cabinets for over 35 years and we know what it costs to do them correctly. That’s what we charge. It may be more than the next guy, or it may be less than the next guy. If price is the biggest thing that you value, please let us know right up front so that we can offer products that fit your budget. We do offer some amazing products at great prices for those who buy on price alone. Cabinets and countertops are like everything else in life… you get what you pay for.
Most people choose to buy from us because of our service and quality. We stand behind our products. We don’t sell junk. We warranty what we sell. We will still be here in 3 years to take care of a problem if one arises. We meet your schedule. We respect your time. We have an amazing showroom to help you decide what you want. We answer the phone. We return calls. We reply to emails. We are organized. We are friendly and courteous. We show up when we say we will. We go out of our way to treat people the way we would like to be treated. We take care of problems. We fix our mistakes. We have the resources to get your job done on time, on budget, and correctly. It all comes back to our PEOPLE. Our people care about their jobs and take pride in their work and it shows in the way we treat our customers. Then compare us to our competition and you decide if what we value is what you value and if our price is fair for what we offer.
